i used to have pretty bad anxiety about social situations, but i’m actually pretty friendly and outgoing for the most part.  i try to engage people, but if i get bored or i’m just not interested, i usually just disengage as fast as possible and will probably do so in a pretty impolite way.  that usually just happens with people i work with though, i find it’s pretty easy to connect with most people on some level.
